Payment gateways, also called Payment Processors, encrypt the data between the user and the merchant for safe payment processing. It sends an authorization request to the credit card company, bank, or any other financial institution to process transactions. Upon authorization, it allows the user’s browser and the payment gateway interface to process payments.
AI-enabled payment processors are also able to detect geo-location, order screening, tax calculation, and more.

Navigating the Settings for Payment Gateway(s) Integration
Clients can integrate the payment gateway themselves in a few steps. Here is a quick guide to configuring settings for any payment gateway:
Access the Client’s Portal through SubscriptionFlow Site.
Enter login credentials.
In the NavBar, find the ‘Settings’ icon. Click on it to access the administration settings for recurring billing and payment management.
On the Settings page, click on ‘Payment Setting’ under the section of ‘Accounting’.
Get in touch with SubscriptionFlow support to integrate your preferred payment processor to process the subscription payments or select from the payment gateways that have already been integrated from here.

To make the configuration easy, we will walk you through the configuration of a few of the most popular payment gateways connected with the SubscriptionFlow.

Configuring PayPal Pro
Select ‘PayPal Pro’ on the Payment Settings Page.
Access the ‘PayPal Pro’ configuration page for settings, click on the ‘Get Started’ tab.
A new page with the fields for login credentials will appear.
To configure the PayPal Pro, enter the login credentials under the connection tab.
Under the ‘Advanced Options’ tab, check the customer payment methods and select the users allowed to access and manage the payment gateway settings from the drop-down menu. You can also set any payment gateway as a default payment gateway when integrating multiple payment gateways.
Go back to the Connection tab, check the Sandbox, and click on the ‘Test Connection’. This will connect the payment gateway. Hit the ‘Save’ button. This will activate the gateway for the subscription account.
To configure another gateway, click on the ‘Back to Payment Gateway’. And, to uninstall the recently configured payment gateway, click on the ‘Uninstall’ Tab.
