- Login to SubscriptionFlow to access your admin dashboard. Then click on the gear icon (‘Administration Settings’) on the top right corner of the screen.
- Under 'Administration Settings', navigate to the Apps & API section and then click on ‘Apps’.
- Next, you will be redirected to the SubscriptionFlow marketplace. Click ‘Dynamics 365 Business Central’ under the Accountings section.
- Once you click on ‘Dynamics 365 Business Central’, you will be redirected to another page where you can connect SubscriptionFlow with Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- To connect SubscriptionFlow and Dynamics 365 Business Central, log in to your Microsoft 365 account.
- Once you log in, you will be redirected to the homepage where you have to click on ‘Admin,’ which is present on the left-hand side of the navigation bar.
- Once you click on ‘Admin’, you will be redirected to a new window.
- Here click on ‘Show All’ on the left-hand side in the navigation bar.
- Next, click on ‘Identity’.
- Once you click on 'Identity,' a new window will open, displaying the 'Tenant ID.' Copy the 'Tenant ID' from this window and paste it into the corresponding box on your SubscriptionFlow account.
- Next, click on ‘Connect’.
- Once you click on ‘Connect’, the status will then turn to ‘Active’, which means that your SubscriptionFlow account has now been connected to Dynamics 365 Business Central.
13. You can also select the company for which you want to sync data between your SubscriptionFlow account and Dynamics 365 Business Central. If you make any changes in this section, then click ‘Save’.
14. Next, navigate back to the SubscriptionFlow marketplace. Here, you will be able to see Dynamics 365 Business Central under the ‘Apps Connected’ section.
15. Next, click on ‘Customers’ present on the left-hand side of the navigation bar.
16. Once you have been redirected to the ‘All Customers’ page, then click on ‘Create Customer’.
17. Once you click on ‘Create Customer’, a pop window will appear where you will be required to fill in the details of the new customer.
18. Once all of the details have been filled out, click on ‘Save’.
19. Once the details have been saved, a green pop-up notification at the top right-hand corner of the screen will appear which will indicate that the details of the customer have been saved successfully.
20. You will also be able to see the details of the new customer that has been added to the database.
21. You can also head over to your Dynamics 365 Business Central account to view the details of the customer that has been added to your SubscriptionFlow account.
22. Once you navigate to your Dynamics 365 Business Central account, click on ‘Customers’.
23. Next, head back to your SubscriptionFlow account and click on ‘Invoices’.
24. Next, you will be redirected to the ‘All Invoices’ page.
25. Here, click on ‘Create Invoice’.
26. Once you click on the 'Create Invoice' button, you will be redirected to a new page where you can select the customer's name, due date, payment status, and associated product and plan.
27. Once all of the details have been filled out, click on the ‘Save’ button.
28. Next, a pop-up window will appear. Here, click on ‘Continue’.
29. Once you click on ‘Continue’, a green pop-up notification will appear on the top right-hand corner of the screen which will indicate that the invoice has been generated successfully.
30. You can also find the invoice listed under the 'All Invoices' section. Additionally, you can automatically view this invoice in your Dynamics 365 Business Central account. Please note that if the invoice status is 'Due' in SubscriptionFlow, no payment information will be shown in your Dynamics 365 Business Central account. However, if the payment status is 'Paid,' the processed payment amount will be visible in your Dynamics 365 Business Central account.
