Follow this guide to install and set up the SubscriptionFlow WooCommerce plugin to power checkout from your website, while managing orders inside SubscriptionFlow.
- From your WordPress account, navigate to Plugins and click on ‘Add New Plugin’.
- Then search for SubscriptionFlow and click on ‘Activate’.
- The SubscriptionFlow Integration for WooCommerce plugin will now be activated and present in your list of ‘Installed Plugins’.
- Click on WooCommerce and then Settings. Then click on the SubscriptionFlow tab. To share data you need a client ID and client secret from within your SubscriptionFlow account.
- Log into your SubscriptionFlow account.
- Navigate to API keys under Apps & APIs from within Administration Settings (gearbox on the top right).
- Create a client to authorize data sharing.
- This generates a Client ID and Client Secret. Copy these to paste inside your WordPress plugin settings tab.
- Navigate back to WordPress. Go to Settings under WooCommerce. Enter your SubscriptionFlow domain name, client ID and client secret here.
- Click ‘Get SubscriptionFlow Products’ to sync products from your SubscriptionFlow account. Go to this guide to learn how to map products.
- Select your button text and background colors.
- Check the Customer Option box to sync customers from WooCommerce into SubscriptionFlow.
- Choose an option from the Enable SubscriptionFlow Checkout Button dropdown. If you have a one-time checkout (within WooCommerce) and a subscription checkout (hosted by SubscriptionFlow), you can choose to enable both buttons in your cart. Here let’s only enable the button that initiates subscription checkout hosted by SubscriptionFlow.
- Then choose the CTA label (e.g. Subscribe Now), text and background color for this button that redirects customers to the checkout page hosted by SubscriptionFlow. Click ‘Save Changes’.
Now you are all set to map your products.
