SubscriptionFlow’s integration with NetSuite simplifies the accounting process. It automates the process of invoice synchronization and updates them in your NetSuite account.
Follow this guide to connect your NetSuite account with SubscriptionFlow.
Step 1: Connection
1. Login to SubscriptionFlow to access your admin dashboard. Then click on the gear-shaped ‘Administration Settings’ icon on the top right corner of the screen.
2. Under 'Administration Settings', navigate to the Apps & API section and then click on ‘Apps’.
3. Next, a list of applications will appear, which can be integrated with SubscriptionFlow. Here, click on ‘Oracle NetSuite’ under the Accountings Section.
4. Now click on the ‘Connect’ button.
5. You will be redirected to NetSuite’s login page. Here you can connect your NetSuite account to SubscriptionFlow. Enter your email address and password to login.
6. Your role and access information will be provided here.
7. After you’ve clicked on the ‘Continue’ button, you will be directed back to the following screen on SubscriptionFlow where you can see the Active integration status indicating that NetSuite has successfully been connected to your SubscriptionFlow account.
Once NetSuite is connected, the next step is to configure it.
Step 2: Configurations
1. The first field in the NetSuite configuration settings is the Default Income Account. The account selected here will be the default income account assigned to all items (plan charges) that are sold. For example, as shown in the screenshot, we have set our account as “4000 INCOME (4000)”.
2. Next, the field Default Payment Account indicates which account the payment gets deposited into when selected from the drop-down menu. For example, we have set it to “1000 CASH IN BANK (1000)”.
You can select your target NetSuite accounts as per your preference.
Step 3: Advance Settings
In advance settings, there are the following fields that you can set how you want your data to be shown in SubscriptionFlow.
1. You can control whether you would like to sync invoices to NetSuite if transactions are made against it by selecting enable/disable for “When invoice is created (Recommended)” or “When Transaction is Created”.
