This guide will help you connect your custom domain or subdomain to SubscriptionFlow using DNS configuration. Please follow the steps carefully.
Step 1: Open Domain Mapping Settings
- Go to Settings in your SubscriptionFlow dashboard.
- Under the Rebranding section, click on Domain Mapping.
Step 2: Add a Custom Domain
- Click Map Custom Domain.
- Enter the domain or subdomain you want to use.
- Copy the CNAME value provided (e.g., ingress.subscriptionflow.com).
- This value will be used when creating the CNAME record in your DNS registrar.
Step 3: Configure CNAME Record in DNS
- Log in to your DNS registrar or domain control panel.
- Add a new CNAME Record:
- Type: CNAME
- Name/Host: Your subdomain (e.g., subscriptions for subscriptions.cloudappflow.com)
- Target/Value: ingress.subscriptionflow.com
- Note: If you are mapping a root domain (e.g., yourdomain.com), use **@** in the “Name” field.
- Save the record.
- Return to SubscriptionFlow and click Next.
At this stage, SubscriptionFlow will generate the TXT records required for domain verification.
Step 4: Add TXT Records for Verification
- Copy the values provided by SubscriptionFlow:
- TXT Record Host
- TXT Record Points To (Value)
- In your DNS manager, add a TXT Record with these details.
- Save the record.
- Copy the values provided by SubscriptionFlow:
Step 5: Verify the Domain
- Go back to the SubscriptionFlow domain mapping page.
- Click Verify Domain.
- Once verification is successful, your custom domain will be mapped. 🎉
✅ You have successfully mapped your custom domain to SubscriptionFlow.
