Sell subscriptions in your iPhone or Android app? Connect Apple and Google, and every app subscriber appears in SubscriptionFlow automatically, alongside your website customers.
Apple and Google keep billing these subscribers. SubscriptionFlow never charges them.
👩💻 Developers, start here: Mobile Stores Developer Guide → APIs, webhooks and the Flutter SDK in one place.
What you need
- Your app in the App Store and/or Google Play, with subscription products.
- The same plans set up in SubscriptionFlow.
- Your app developer, for the one-time setup below.
Step 1: Connect your store
Go to Settings > Marketplace > Integrations and open Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Apple: paste the In-App Purchase key details from App Store Connect, then click Save and Test connection.
- Google: paste your Google service account details, then click Save and Test connection.
Your developer will also point the store's notifications to SubscriptionFlow. The settings page shows the exact address to use.
Step 2: Match your products
On the same page, under Product mapping, pick each app product and the SubscriptionFlow plan it matches.
Step 3: Update your app
Your developer adds a small change so each purchase is linked to the right customer. Send them the Mobile Stores Developer Guide: it has everything they need, including our Flutter SDK.
That's it. New purchases, renewals, cancellations and refunds now sync on their own.
What you'll see
- App subscribers as regular customers, each with a subscription marked App Store or Google Play.
- A paid invoice for every store charge, at the price the customer paid.
- Status updates when a subscriber cancels, pauses, renews or gets a refund.
- App revenue in your reports and MRR.
Good to know
- No double billing: SubscriptionFlow never invoices, charges or sends payment reminders for app subscriptions. Website subscriptions are billed as usual.
- Emails: Apple and Google already email your app subscribers, so SubscriptionFlow doesn't by default. You can turn this on in the store's settings.
- Needs review: if something can't be matched (for example a product you haven't mapped yet), it's listed on the store's settings page so you can fix it.
- Who can set it up: admins, or anyone with the Manage Mobile Stores permission.
