1. To configure the SF app into your Sugar CRM account, navigate to the 'Admin Settings’.
2. Next, click on ‘SubscriptionFlow license’.
3. After navigating to the 'Admin Settings,' insert a key into the designated box and proceed by clicking on the 'Validate' button. (Note: Follow ‘Step Number 4’ to get the key)
4. After validating the key, click on the 'Configure' button. Upon doing so, you should see a success message.
5. You will be automatically redirected to the Configuration page, or you can access it from the Admin Settings.
6. Here, you can test the connection.
7. To find the key for validating the configuration, navigate to your SubscriptionFlow account.
8. Once you log in, click on the gear icon ('Administration Settings') on the top right-hand corner of the screen.
9. Next, click on ‘OAuth Clients’ under ‘Users and Control’.
10. Here, you will be able to see the Client ID, Client Name, and Client Secret.
11. Copy the obtained credentials from SubscriptionFlow and paste them into the designated boxes on the 'Configure SubscriptionFlow' page.
12. Next, click on the ‘Test and Save Connection’.
13. After clicking on 'Test and Save Connection,' a green pop-up notification will appear at the end of the screen, indicating that Sugar CRM has been successfully connected to your SubscriptionFlow account.
How to Link a Plan With an Opportunity
1. Navigate to your “Opportunities” inside SugarCRM and select the one you wish to link to a plan. With SubscriptionFlow configured you should see a “Link Plans” button at the top of the opportunity. Click on it to open up a pop up window.
2. From the pop up window select a product and a plan from your SubscriptionFlow account.
3. SugarCRM will load the details of the selected plan and allow you to set a quantity for this order.
4. Click save to successfully link the plan to this opportunity.
How to Create a Subscription for an Opportunity
1. Click the “Create Subscription” button on the top right corner of your opportunity.
2. Select the subscription type i.e. Termed or Evergreen. In the case of termed subscriptions also choose a start date.
3. Next select the initial term and whether you wish the subscription to auto-renew.
4. The “Remove” button lets you exclude any plans linked to the opportunity that are not part of this subscription. Select product quantity where applicable and click save.
5. You should get a success message indicating that a subscription has been created inside SubscriptionFlow.
6. The subscription created inside SubscriptionFlow is also visible through SugarCRM.
7. Similarly, you can find the invoice linked to this subscription inside SugarCRM as well.
This way you can manage leads and subscriptions side by side using the powerful SubscriptionFlow SugarCRM integration.
