PayPal - How to Guide
PayPal is an online payment system that allows users to securely send and receive money, as well as pay for goods and services online.
This is a how-to guide for integrating the PayPal payment gateway with SubscriptionFlow. It outlines the steps required to connect your PayPal account with SubscriptionFlow.
The guide follows a simple format, with step-by-step instructions and corresponding screenshots to help you easily follow along.
1. Enter your login credentials to access your SubscriptionFlow account.
2. After logging in, the dashboard will appear.
Click on the Administration Settings button (gear icon) in the top-left navigation bar.
3. On the Admin Settings page, under the Billing section, click on Payment Settings.
4. When the Payment Gateways window appears, you’ll see a list of all supported gateways.
Click on PayPal to begin integration.
5. Click on the Get Started button.
6. To proceed, you'll need the Client ID and Client Secret from your PayPal account.
7. To obtain these credentials, open https://www.paypal.com/signin in a new tab and log in to your PayPal Developer account.
8. After logging in, go to Apps & Credentials, then click Create App.
9. Enter an app name, select the app type, and click Create App.
10. Once the app is created, copy the Client ID and Secret Key.
11. Return to SubscriptionFlow and paste the credentials into the PayPal integration fields.
Then click Test Connection.
12. If the connection is successful, click Save.
13. Click on Back to Payment Gateways.
14. Click on Active Gateways to see the connected Gateways with your SubscriptionFlow account.
15. PayPal has now been set as your default payment gateway.
