SubscriptionFlow lets you integrate with Stitch Express to collect card payments and process recurring subscription charges through saved card consent.
This guide walks you through connecting your Stitch Express merchant account with SubscriptionFlow.
- Log in to your SubscriptionFlow account.
- Click the Administration Settings gear icon.
- Under Billing, click Payment Gateways.
- Click + Payment Gateway.
- Select Stitch Express from the available gateways.
- Click Get Started.
- In the Stitch Express connection window, enter the credentials from your Stitch dashboard:
- Client ID
- Client Secret
- Webhook Secret: optional; this is normally auto-populated when webhooks are configured.
- Click Test Connection.
If the credentials are valid, SubscriptionFlow displays a successful connection message.
- Click Save.
Once saved, Stitch Express is installed and marked active.
Configure Advanced Options
- Open the Advanced Options tab.
- Under Accept Payment Via, keep Credit Cards enabled.
- Under Allow Access To, choose which users can edit this gateway configuration.
- Check Make Default if Stitch Express should be the default gateway for collecting payments.
- Click Save.
Webhooks
SubscriptionFlow automatically attempts to configure Stitch Express webhooks after the gateway is saved. If Stitch returns a webhook signing secret, SubscriptionFlow stores it in the gateway credentials.
Open the Logs tab to confirm webhook configuration activity.
Note: Webhooks are required for reliable payment status updates between Stitch Express and SubscriptionFlow. Without them, payment statuses may not update in real time.
That is how you connect Stitch Express with SubscriptionFlow.
