Payment Gateways

Payment gateways allow easy and secure credit card processing for electronic payments.

Payment gateways, called Payment Processors, encrypt the data between the user and the merchant for safe payment processing. It sends an authorization request to the credit card company, bank, or any other financial institution to process transactions. Upon authorization, the user’s browser and the payment gateway interface can process payments.

AI-enabled payment processors can also detect geo-location, order screening, tax calculation, and more.

Some of the popular payment gateways integration offered by SubscriptionFlow include PayPal Payment Pro, PayPal Paymentflow Pro, Stripe, Authorize.Net, GoCardless, and many more.

Configuring PayPal Express Checkout

Clients can integrate the payment gateway themselves in a few steps. Here is a quick guide to configuring settings for Paypal Express Checkout:

Access the Client’s Portal through SubscriptionFlow Site.

Enter login credentials.

In the NavBar, find the ‘Settings’ icon. Click on it to access the administration settings for recurring billing and payment management.

On the Settings page, click on ‘Payment Setting’ under the section of ‘Billing’.

You will be shown your Active Payment gateways. Click on '+Payment Gateway' to add Paypal Express checkout.

Click on the ‘Get Started’ tab.

A new page with the fields for login credentials will appear.

To configure PayPal, enter the login credentials under the connection tab.

Under the ‘Advanced Options’ tab, select the users allowed to access from the drop-down menu to manage the payment gateway settings.

To configure another gateway, click ‘Back to Payment Gateway’. And, to uninstall the recently configured payment gateway, click on the ‘Uninstall’ Tab.

    In order to integrate PayPal successfully with SubscriptionFlow, please make sure you are entering the correct Client ID and Client Secret. You can do so by following the steps provided below.

    1. Log in to the Developer Dashboard with your PayPal account credentials.
    2. Select My Apps & Credentials present under the DASHBOARD.
    3. For Sandbox, please make sure that you are on the Sandbox tab to get the API credentials. To go live, switch to the Live tab to get live credentials.
    4. Under the App Name column, select Default Application - which PayPal creates with a new Developer Dashboard account. If the default app does not exist, click on Create App.

    Once the Client ID and Client Secret are generated, copy and paste those in the SubscriptionFlow fields and your PayPal will be integrated successfully.
