CSG Forte

SubscriptionFlow lets you collect payments through the CSG Forte payment gateway. This guide shows you how to integrate, configure and use CSG Forte with SubscriptionFlow.

Configure CSG Forte

1. With "Administrative Settings", click on “Payment Settings” under Billing.

2. Here you can see all your installed and active payment gateways. Click on “+ Payment Gateway” and then select CSG Forte.

3. Inside the integration widget you need to enter 5 different access granting credentials available from your Forte account. 

4. Log into your Forte account and click on “Developer” followed by “API Credentials”.

5. Here you can create new API credentials or select existing ones from the list. 

6. Copy and paste the API ID and Secure Key into the SubscriptionFlow integration widget.

7. Go back to your Forte account and click on “Organizations”.

8. Locate your organization ID here.

9. Next navigate to “Locations”.

10. Locate your location ID here.

11. Copy and paste them both into the SubscriptionFlow integration widget.

12. Finally, click on “Credentials” and generate the API login ID.

13. Check the sandbox if applicable and test your connection. Then hit save.

14. Under Advanced Settings you can configure this payment gateway. Select the payment methods you want to enable including direct debit (like ACH) and credit cards. You also have the option to select this payment gateway as your default for collecting payments if needed.

15. Choose if you wish to grant permission to make changes to this configuration to all the users in your account or a group of users.

Webhook Configuration

16. Use the webhook URL to relay payment status information between the two systems. For instant transactions the payment status inside SubscriptionFlow does not need updating. However, for order placement followed by invoice clearance or recurring payments you need a webhook to update the status of your payments inside SubscriptionFlow when their status changes within CSG Forte.

17. Go to your Forte account and click on “Webhooks” and click on “Create Webhook”.

18. Enter the URL from the SubscriptionFlow integration widget here and create the webhook. 

19. The webhook is now active. 

Uninstall 

20. Save your settings. Your payment gateway is now installed and active. It can be uninstalled easily using the “Uninstall” button on top if needed.
