Basic Configurations
2. Under the ‘Basic Configuration’ tab, configure checkout by first selecting what type of subscription order you want created inside SubscriptionFlow as a result of successful checkout. You may set subscriptions to evergreen and select a default term such as 12 months. You may also select one off orders.
3. Select if you wish this configuration applied to all plans or specific plans.
4. Click on Advanced Settings to enable some important rules for checkout.
The following table explains what each of these checkboxes enable:
Checkbox | What it Controls |
Invoice the Subscription Separately? | If a customer has multiple subscriptions renewing at the same date, the system sends a consolidated invoice containing all the plans. If you check this box, each subscription order tied to the same customer will come with its own separate invoice. |
Enable Trial? | This box lets you offer trials and you can select how long you want your trial to last. |
Enable Contract Effective? | This lets your customers choose when their subscription starts. For example, they might be checking out ahead of time but wish to be billed and go live at the start of the next month. |
Use Default Subscription Date on Web Checkout | Checking this box automatically starts subscriptions on the default subscription date of your choice. |
Enable Customers to Change Delivery Terms? | This creates an option during checkout to opt for different delivery periods. |
