Follow this guide to create a subscription for a customer inside SubscriptionFlow.
1. Login and land on the Dashboard. Next, click on 'Customers' in the left-hand side panel.
2. After clicking on 'Customers', you can access the 'All Customers' list. Here, click on any customer for whom you want to create a new subscription. Once inside the customer information view, click on the ‘+ New Subscription’ button.
3. After clicking on the '+ New Subscription' button, you will be redirected to a new page where you must add details of the subscription being created. Choose the start date for the subscription. This is set to the date of creation by default but may be set to any other date. Choose the subscription type, i.e., Termed or Evergreen. In the case of a termed Subscription you must specify an initial term that defines the duration in which the subscription will be active. You can also choose to click on the 'Auto Renew' box. This automatically renews the subscription after its initial term for another identical period.
4. The Evergreen Subscription does not have any term as it stays active until cancelled.
5. In the 'Products/Publications & Plans' category, you can choose the product and plan for which you want to create the subscription. You can add plans or remove them in this stage using the green '+Add' and red 'X' buttons. Click 'Save'.
6. A new pop-up window will appear, asking you to confirm the display name for the subscription. This display name will be visible against the customer’s details in the database. Once you have edited the display name for the subscription, click on the 'Continue' button.
7. The customer will be charged according to the charge type, charge model, and price of the subscription. If a payment method is listed it will be charged otherwise the status of the payment will be pending.
8. Now, you will be able to see the new subscription that has been created for the customer.
9. This subscription will now be listed in the customer detailed view under Subscriptions. It can also be found listed in the All Subscriptions View of the Subscriptions module.
