After installing SubscriptionFlow App from the Shopify App Store, open it from your Shopify admin sidebar under Apps → SubscriptionFlow App, then follow the steps below.
Step 1 -Complete the Onboarding Form
The first time you open the app, you'll be redirected to the Onboarding page. Completing this one-time form creates your SubscriptionFlow workspace and provisions your tenant account automatically.
1.1 Fill in the Onboarding Form
The onboarding form collects the following information:
- Company Name: Your business name. This is used to generate your workspace domain (e.g., "mycompany" becomes "mycompany.subscriptionflow.com").
- Full Name: Your personal name for the account.
- Email: Your email address for notifications and account access.
- Password: Your account password (must be at least 8 characters).
- Currency: Your primary business currency.
- Country: Your business country location.

1.2 Submit — Your Tenant Is Created
After filling in all required fields, click Submit. The system will:
- Validate your information
- Create your tenant account
- Generate your workspace domain
- Provision your subscription management environment
You'll then see a success screen with your unique workspace link. The link requires about 5 minutes to be fully provisioned — a countdown timer shows when it's ready to copy. Once ready, copy your workspace URL and continue to the dashboard.

Step 2 -Register Webhooks in SubscriptionFlow
Next, register the webhooks on the SubscriptionFlow side so Shopify notifies SubscriptionFlow whenever your selling plans and products change, keeping both systems in sync.
2.1 Open the Shopify App Settings
- In SubscriptionFlow, go to Administration Settings.
- Click Apps. You'll see the connected Shopify apps.
- Click the Shopify option to open its settings.
- Open the Webhooks tab.
2.2 Register the Webhooks
In the Webhooks tab, register the following events:
- Selling Plan: check Create and Update, then click Register.
- Product: check Create and Update, then click Register.

- Go to your Shopify admin → Products.
- Open a product you want to sell on subscription.
- Scroll down to the Purchase options section.
- Click Add purchase option and configure your subscription plan — delivery frequency, discounts, and which variants the plan applies to.
- Click Save on the product.

Step 4 -Add the Widget to Product Pages
The SubscriptionFlow Widget displays subscription options directly on your product pages, so customers can choose a subscription plan and delivery frequency while viewing a product.
4.1 Add the Widget Block
- Open the theme editor: In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes, then click Customize next to your active theme.
- Select the Product template: Use the template dropdown at the top and choose Product.
- Open Product information: In the left sidebar, expand the Product information section.
- Add the block: Click + (Add block), search for SubscriptionFlow Widget, and select it to add it to the page.
- Position the widget: Drag it where you want it to appear — above the "Add to cart" button is recommended.
- Save: Click Save in the top right. The widget now appears on all product pages that have subscription plans configured.

Step 5 -Add the In-App Portal Widget to the My Orders Page
The SubscriptionFlow In-App Portal Widget lets customers manage their subscriptions directly from their account. Add it to the My Orders page so customers can access the portal after they sign in.
5.1 Add the Portal Widget
- Open the theme editor: In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes, then click Customize next to your active theme.
- Open the account pages: Use the page/template selector at the top and choose the My account pages group, then select the My Orders page.
- Add the block: Add the SubscriptionFlow In-App Portal Widget to the My Orders page.
- Save: Click Save in the top right. Customers can now manage their subscriptions from the My Orders page.

Step 6 -Enable Subscriptions in Bundles (Optional)
This step is only needed if you sell product bundles using a bundle app. To offer subscriptions on bundled products, turn on the subscription toggle inside your bundle app so the bundle can be sold as a subscription.
- Open your bundle app and edit the bundle you want to offer on subscription.
- Turn on the subscription toggle inside the bundle.
- Save the bundle.
