After successfully integrating SalesForce with SubscriptionFlow following the SalesForce integration guide. Link plans to opportunities following these two steps:
Step 2: Link Plan to Opportunity
Step 1: Create an opportunity linked to an account
- Opportunities are always linked to an account. Within the accounts tab, you can click on any existing account to create an opportunity for it. If you have no accounts yet, start by creating an account. From the Accounts tab, click ‘New’.
- Name the account and add any other details you wish to include. You may also add a Rating to the account to classify it. Click ‘Save’.
3. An account by the name of Madison Inc. has been created as confirmed by the green pop up.
4. From within the account details, click on ‘Opportunities’. Then click on ‘New’.
5. You can also create opportunities by directly clicking on the ‘Opportunities’ tab and then clicking ‘New’. Note that you will once again have to elect an account to tie this opportunity to.
6. A pop-up window will appear on the screen. Give the opportunity a name, a linked account and a stage from the dropdown.
7. Depending on the stage you select, SalesForce will add a probability that the opportunity will close successfully. You may edit this percentage and add an expected close date. Then click ‘Save’.
8. An opportunity has been created, linked to an account. You may click ‘Save & New’ or the ‘New’ button on the Opportunities screen to add multiple ones to this one account.
9. Click on the newly created opportunity to view its activity and details.
Step 2: Link a plan to the opportunity
- To link a plan to an opportunity, click on ‘Link Plans’ from the detailed view of an opportunity.
2. A new pop-up window will appear. Select which product and plan from within your SubscriptionFlow product catalog you want to link to this opportunity.
3. Then click ‘Save’. Click ‘Save & New’ to link multiple products and/or plans to a single opportunity.
4. The plan has been successfully linked to the opportunity.
5. Next, you will be automatically redirected to the Opportunities page.
