Now that you have created a subscription for an opportunity, you can also edit this subscription. Follow these steps:
- Click on a subscription under SF Subscriptions to edit it.
- You can also click on ‘Edit Subscription’ from the account view.
- Select the subscription you want to edit from the dropdown.
- You can edit the subscription start date.
- You can also switch the subscription type to evergreen.
- Within the termed subscription type, you can also change the term and change the auto renew status of the subscription. In this case lets extend the term from 12 months to 24 months.
- Finally you can edit the related plans. Click on ‘Add Line Item’.
- Select a product and a plan to add to this subscription and click ‘Save’.
- A green pop up will confirm that the line item has been added.
- You can add multiple line items by using the ‘Save & New’ option.
- A green pop up will confirm that the line item has been added.
- You can also remove any line items by checking the box next to the line item you wish to delete and clicking the ‘Remove’ button.
- A green pop up will confirm that the line item has been removed successfully.
- Finally, click ‘Update’ when you are done.
- A detailed view of this subscription will now reflect the changes made. Note that the term has changed according to our edits.
- Click on Related Line Items to see the updated plans associated with this subscription.
- Go to your SubscriptionFlow account and open up the subscription to see the changes reflected there as well.
And that is how you can edit a subscription from within SalesForce through the SalesForce integration with SubscriptionFlow.
