Renewing with a Different Price

To achieve the case where you want your customers to renew their subscription at a different price follow these simple steps:

Enable Renew to Different Plan functionality from the Administration Settings 

1. Go to Administration Settings from your dashboard.

2. Click ‘Preferences’ under Customization.

3. With Preferences, click on the ‘Subscriptions’ tab.

4. Scroll down to Renew Subscription To Different Plan, and select ‘Yes' from the dropdown menu to activate the renew to different plan functionality.

5. Scroll down and click ‘Save Changes’. A green pop-up notification at the top right corner of the screen will indicate that the changes have been successfully saved.

Setup your Pricing Hierarchy 

1. Navigate to Products from the dashboard. 

2. On the page listing all your products, click ‘Create Product’.

3. You may also click on an existing product and click on ‘Create Plan’ to create pricing plans for an existing product. 

4. After filling in the details of your product and plan, click ‘Save Plan’. A green pop-up notification at the top right corner of the screen will indicate that the changes have been successfully saved. To learn how to create a product and a plan in detail go to this guide. 

5. You will be redirected to the detailed view of the product. Scroll down to see all the plans linked to this product.

5. With the Renew Subscription To Different Plan previously enabled, click the small ‘Edit’ button right next to (Renew to: N/A) next to the name of the trial plan.

6. After clicking ‘Edit’, a pop up will appear. Select the plan you want the subscription to move to. Click ‘Save’ after entering the required information.

7. Your customer’s subscription will automatically renew to the next plan that you selected in the previous step.
