Average Order MRR refers to the average Monthly Recurring Revenue generated per order across all active subscriptions within a specific period. This metric helps businesses understand the typical value of each recurring subscription order and is especially useful in analyzing pricing strategies, customer value, and revenue trends.
Average Order MRR is calculated by dividing the total MRR by the number of active subscription orders in a given time frame. This gives a normalized view of how much revenue is expected from each customer order per month.
For example:
If your total MRR from all subscriptions is $20,000 and you have 100 active subscription orders, then the Average Order MRR is:
$20,000 ÷ 100 = $200 per order
- If your MRR increases to $30,000 with 150 orders, then the Average Order MRR becomes:
$30,000 ÷ 150 = $200 per order, showing consistency in your average subscription value.
